Business Developer - Europe - CRO - £80K (£100K OTE)

Account management and new business development roles available at Business Development Manager, Associate Director or Director level with an expanding, quality driven international CRO! Due to recent reorganisation and growth within the business our client is looking for an experienced business developer to join the well established and high performing European sales team. The opportunity is available office based in either the UK or Europe (France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, The Netherlands or Spain) although there is some flexibility regarding field based for the right candidate. At all levels you will be promoting full clinical development services in phases II-IV to biotech and pharma companies. The role involves a mix of new business and account management activities; maximising revenue from existing accounts; overseeing the proposals and contracts process and contributing to marketing activities. When you work in business development for this company you work as part of a team oriented, relationship driven team where knowledge and contacts are shared and success benefits all. There is a high level of flexibility when it comes to client and territory allocation which is driven and supported by a team performance related bonus scheme. You will be expected to develop strategic account plans for your key clients, maintaining and enhancing these relationships on an ongoing basis. The level of role offered will be dependant on your experience. Who are we looking for? You will have extensive experience within the CRO environment, selling high value phase II-IV clinical development services on an international level. With a strong network of contacts within the industry you will be a well polished consultative business developer, confidently able to sell on quality rather than price. At the senior level we are looking for candidates who are well known and respected within the marketplace, with the credibility and gravitas to enhance existing client relationships and bring on board new clients.
