Account Manager - Drug Development Research - UK - to £35 (£41K OTE)

Applications Specialist - Flow Cytometry - UK - to £38K (£44K OTE)

Are you experienced in flow cytometry? Would you like to work in a more commercial environment? We are working with a leader in flow cytometry instrumentation and are looking for a new field applications specialist to join the current team. The company has a global brand and the technology to impress customers and need you to help demonstrate and showcase their instruments.

The role is UK wide and covers Ireland too. As part of an applications team you will support and train customers across the UK and this will involve :
· Providing in-house and on-site training and support to UK/Ireland customer base
· Provide field-based support to UK and Ireland sales force by delivery of customer focused instrument and reagent demonstrations, and through delivery of seminars, workshops and other sales related activities
· Troubleshoot and resolve end-user flow cytometry application problems
· Develop and deliver product training to internal customers, and provide on-line and telephone support to external customers as required

You will work with the commercial teams and help deliver technical support to clients.

The role has an extensive travel requirement and so daily travel should be expected with overnight stays averaging two nights per week, although this may not be every week.
To be right for the role you will possess extensive knowledge of flow cytometry , ideally with a knowledge of cell sorting, and experience from a clinical setting would be an advantage. Prior commercial experience is not required although would be of interest to the client.

Sales Representative - Research Labware - UK to £35K (£44K OTE)

As part of the Labware team you will provide customers and distributors with technical, market and sales support. By implementing the sales and marketing strategy for the territory, you will be the key to delivering sales growth and product portfolio adoption. Ø Installation of opto-mechanical slide scanning and drug-screening

Required Qualifications/Skills
Ø Degree preferred - science or engineering discipline; however, HND may be considered.

Ø Familiarity with microscope stages, CCD sensors, optics, optical filters, laser-diodes etc.
Ø PC literate - able to install operating systems, working knowledge of software / hardware integration, basic computer architecture etc.

Ø Ability to work as part of a team - close interaction with UK sales engineers and technical experts in the parent company HQ required.
