This new collaboration will be developing an innovative cancer testing tool for personalised medicine which will be commercialised for response to therapy testing of solid tumours.
Initially you will be spending up to three months in the USA training and following this you will be based in the South East and travelling within the UK occasionally to work with the collaborators, the role will predominantly be office based.You will be analysing data for determining copy number and interpretation of somatic mutations and should be able to develop novel statistical approaches for analysing data.
You will have a background in applied data analysis including experience analysing genomic data. Also required are advanced programming skills in Java, C or C++, statistical data analysis experience using R, S, Splus, SAS or Matlab, experience with Perl, Python or Ruby.
