An innovative manufacturer of mass spectrometry instruments is expanding its support team in Europe and is now keen to recruit a field service engineer in the UK.
The role will involve supporting customers in the UK and mainland Europe by installing instruments, completing preventative maintenance visits and emergency visits to resolve system problems. In addition to these standard servicing based requirements you will have the opportunity to train customers on the correct use of the systems and also be able to discuss some application based questions with customers. The company are keen for their service engineers to be able to offer complete support to the customers, predominately this will be engineering based but occasionally it may require discussion around the chemistry.
The successful candidate will be an electromechanical engineer with either field based or in house based service experience on mass spectrometry systems, be happy to travel and feel comfortable talking to customers and resolving their issues.
