A very exciting opportunity has become available with an innovative manufacturer of analytical chemistry products which is looking to expand its commercial team and is keen to recruit an Account Manager.
The role will involve developing sales of high value capital equipment to research facilities within the UK. This will include large pharmaceutical companies and academic centres. The company has excellent relationships with a number of pharmaceutical companies and you will be expected to build on these relationships, identify sales opportunities and capitalise upon them.
The successful candidate will be a graduate, ideally with some laboratory experience in an analytical chemistry department who is now keen to enter the commercial world. You will need to be driven, committed and have first rate communication skills. You will work closely with a highly experienced sales director who will share his industry knowledge and commercial skills with you yet allow you the freedom to develop.
