An international  instrument manufacturer  is looking for a field based service engineer due to continued growth.  The company makes measuring and analytical instrumentation for a variety of industrial sectors including beverage and petrochemicals and research.

The role is home based when not travelling and will involve the installation, repair and service of a variety of instrument types in a range of industrial and research settings.  This opportunity has arisen due to the growth of the company and you will join a team of seven engineers.  Much of the range is computer controlled and so a familiarisation with software and control interfaces is required.

The ideal location for you to be based is South UK , e.g,  Oxford, Southampton, Reading.

To be qualified for this opportunity you will need a suitable engineering qualification and some field service experience.  Experience working with test or measurement instruments would be an advantage as would experience working in more industrial sectors.  The role requires a good understanding of computer-controlled equipment and software interfaces.  If you have on-site repair or maintenance experience experience with scientific instrumentation you should also apply for this role as a trainee option is open.

The company offers a generous package of benefits including a company bonus, 25 days holiday rising to 28 with service, pension (after qualifying period), company car, mobile phone and laptop.
