We have a fantastic opportunity for a Molecular Biologist to join our client in the east of the UK.
This role is ideal if you want to be involved with conducting the research to develop innovative technology for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Specifically to explore the fundamental biology of novel theranostic biomarkers.
If you have a background working in as a Molecular Biologist in a laboratory, we want to speak to you. This role would allow you to develop your skills in this field, by working with the exceptional scientific team our client employs but also through your involvement with the direction of the research & development goals.
This role would support the current research scientists and give you the opportunity to further your skills by working closely with them in a close knit team. It would also allow you to develop your non-histology based skills, by working closely with internal and external parties to establish and achieve development goals.
Candidates who have experience with Next Generation Sequencing, Genetic Engineering, Gene manipulation and siRNA targeted therapy are encouraged to apply.
Due to the complexity of the technical elements to this job our client is only accepting applications from those who have a related PhD in this field with at least 3 years experience in a post-doctoral position.
