A leading life science company is keen to recruit a Technical Support Specialist on a 12 month contract to handle technical queries for the extensive range of life science products that the company manufactures.
The role will be office based and you will be part of a team handling technical customer enquiries, troubleshooting customer issues and assisting customers with the development of experimental work by telephone and e-mail. You will also provide technical advice to field sales teams when required and support the sales teams from a technical perspective.
The successful candidate will be a graduate or have a higher level qualification in molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry with hands-on research experience using antibody based assays/immunoassays, molecular biology research techniques, primary cell culture and protein expression/purification techniques. Excellent communication skills will be essential. No previous commercial experience is necessary so this is an ideal opportunity to move into a international company that can offer extensive training and long term career opportunities.
