A great opportunity has become available for a service engineer in a rapidly expanding life science company that manufacture a range of genomic analysis instruments. The company have enjoyed tremendous growth across Europe and are very keen to develop their support team hence the creation of this additional role in their field service team which is only the start of a planned expansion programme.
This is a unique opportunity in the sector as you will be joining a business who actually manufacturer and assemble their instruments in the UK, they also operate a contract research facility using their systems daily. When you join you will spend time at the manufacturing facility and then at their laboratories fully developing your understanding and knowledge of their systems before supporting customers in the field.
Customers are based throughout Europe and you will be expected to travel extensively, you will be involved in installing, servicing and emergency support across Europe. Once the systems are installed you will also have the opportunity to train users in the correct operation of the systems.
We are keen to speak with experienced service engineers who are happy to travel, previous experience with life science instruments are of interest however this is not essential. The most important characteristics include strong communication skills, a real team player, energy and enthusiasm for excellent customer support.
