A leading life science company has recently expanded its product portfolio and is keen to explore the potential within the clinical diagnostics arena. They are keen to recruit a Product Sales Manager initially on a 3 month contract to explore the market for their product lines, dependent on the results a permanent position may be available!
The role will involve mapping the diagnostics market and exploring the commercial viability for a new to the UK market range of Elisa based assays used within the clinical diagnostics arena. You will be expected to contact customers directly to gauge interest levels for the product line and identify any hurdles to a successful product launch. The aim after 3 months will be to produce a comprehensive business plan to launch the product line in the UK, the challenges, competitor analysis and sales forecast.
The successful candidate will be a life science graduate with extensive commercial experience within the diagnostics industry and able to take up an initial 3 month contract which should subject to the outcome of the study become a permanent position.
