Marketing Director | Antibodies | South East UK

This company is a major international brand in the manufacture and supply of antibodies and antibody products. They have a supportive and motivating working environment and are a highly respected and growing company.


The role is part of a newly created marketing and category management division and reports to the chief marketing officer. You will be responsible for the marketing and development of the company’s secondary antibody portfolio across all channels and geographies and in conjunction with the online marketing team.


Initially this is a stand-alone role pitched at marketing director level but there is the potential to grow a team structure as the role develops. You will interact with 2 other category managers at this level and the team forms a growth and business development drive.


Your remit will include defining the product portfolio, sourcing requirements vs manufacturing in-house, setting global external pricing and internal transfer pricing, building a solid knowledge of the market and business opportunity, and input to research areas teams on marketing requirements.

UK Economy Upgraded By OECD!


Paris-based thinktank the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has lifted its forecast for UK growth in 2013, in the latest vote of confidence for the fledgling recovery.


In May, when it last released projections for the world’s major economies, the OECD was expecting 0.8% growth in the UK for 2013. On Tuesday, it said recent survey evidence suggested GDP would expand by 1.5%, grouping the UK with the US and Japan as economies where, “activity is expanding at encouraging rates”.


The upgrade from the OECD comes after a string of positive indicators for the UKmore

A high-tech specialist in delivering bespoke process systems to the manufacturing elements of biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries is looking to expand their European operations with a Key Account Manager.


Our client is known in the market for providing very specialist bespoke solutions to purity based bioprocessing facilities within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing sites. Having developed their technical expertise in the brewing and dairy industry this organisation is investing heavily to support the growing life science market.


You will have knowledge of the Pharmaceutical manufacturing sites across the North West part of Europe and will be able to go to those sites to provide them with a highly complex bespoke solution to improve their manufacturing capability. Experience providing tailored business services with high valued deals is essential.


Success in this role will be rewarded with access to a great bonus scheme and the opportunity to grow with the organisation into a more senior European management position.


This role will primarily be focused on managing the key accounts and building the business across the BeNeLux region, France & Switzerland.


Due to the location this role requires fluency in English and one other European language, preferably French or German.


This role can be based from home anywhere in the BeNeLux or Northern France region, with close proximity to a transportation hub being highly desirable.
