The main focus of this role is co-marketing with the Product Managers and Research team to increase revenue and profitability for the company. You will be reviewing scientific literature across the board to identify new product areas and reporting this information back to the Category Manager.


You will also be involved in product pricing, packaging and promotion campaigns for the range, ensuring that it is co-marketed to a high standard. In preparing marketing content for email, mailing campaigns and the company website you will need to liaise with Scientific Support and Customer Service to make sure knowledge of the product range is up to date and that customers are notified of any updates. In addition to this you will be monitoring and acting upon key performance indicators related to product performance in order to effectively build relationships and develop new opportunities.


For this opportunity you will need a degree in Pharmacology, Physiology, Biochemistry or a related subject and have experience in product marketing for example product pricing, promotions or copy writing you are encouraged to apply. If you have a PhD in this area but no product marketing experience please also get in touch. This role is integral to the success of the instrument’s placement in the hospitals. Because of the nature of the instruments, they can improve performance and efficiencies in a variety of different departments in hospitals – from infection control to oncology. The overall cost saving and improved efficiences need to be presented to the customer to ensure the sale of the instruments. Your responsibilities will be to liaise with a variety of different departments, gather relevant information and data, assess work flow and then present the data back to the customer. You will have a team of inhouse data analysts that can help analyse the data, but you will need to know and understand the findings during client meetings.

This role is integral to the success of the instrument’s placement in the hospitals. The overall cost saving and improved efficiences need to be presented to the customer to ensure the sale of the instruments. Your responsibilities will be to liaise with a variety of different departments, gather relevant information and data, assess work flow and then present the data back to the customer. You will have a team of inhouse data analysts that can help analyse the data, but you will need to know and understand the findings during client meetings.


They are looking for an individual who understands the healthcare environment, with a particular focus on molecular diagnostics and the implementation of products into this environment.
