This is a crucial and strategic opportunity with a globally recognised innovator of genomic research instruments. Following recent impressive growth figures they are looking to expand their commercial team in Europe. You will be developing an entirely new approach to selling fully characterised tissues for early stage clinical research and biomarker work for drug discovery.
You will be working across Europe with a specialist business development team, identifying and generating interest in this companys technology. This will be achieved by working closely with the marketing and sales teams regarding potential customers and developing long term relationships with centres throughout Europe. You will be involved with technical and promotional discussions with customers which will include advising how to set up this new way of working. You can leave closing for the sale to the sales teams although you’ll both benefit from commission.
This is a home based role but it is likely that you will spend approximately half your time travelling to visit customers and key opinion leaders or attending conferences throughout Europe.
You will have business development experience and be familiar with working on complex projects. You should also have some molecular/genomics background.
