Trainee Field Service Engineer | Analytical Chemistry | Midlands/M62 | to £24K (£26K OTE)

A leading manufacturer of analytical chemistry instruments is expanding its service team within the UK and is keen to recruit a Service Engineer based between Oxford and the M62 area. In this instance the company is keen to recruit someone with hands-on use of spectroscopy (AA, ICP-OES, UV-Vis) or chromatography and train them to become a field service engineer. Once fully trained and confident in your abilities you will be installing, servicing and handling emergency breakdowns of high value analytical chemistry instruments at customer laboratories. Initially you will have extensive training on the products and service protocol before working alongside a very experienced engineer in the field with the aim of working independently as and when you are ready for this. We are keen to speak with chemistry graduates who have some hands-on research experience using spectroscopy or chromatography. Those that have had to carry out hands-on calibration and running repairs would be of particular interest.

This is a tremendously rare opportunity to develop your career in the field service arena! Contact Scott on 01279 657716 or email for further information.
