This company manufactures a novel instrumentation. They were recently acquired by a market leader in material and particle characterisation. These products have exciting applications such as vaccine production, research into protein aggregation, delivery and clearance from the body of drugs based upon their size, for safety testing of quantities of nanoparticles in products within the pharma, food and cosmetics industries.
Since their acquisition, they have been successfully integrating their teams. Now they require a customer support champion to maintain the high standard of support on this technology for a maternity cover at this critical time.
The larger company is very welcoming with a delightful team. The acquired company office is where you will spend the majority of your time. They are a very friendly team with a very technical style, having formed as a spin out company which then grew with success prior to their acquisition.
You will be the supporting technical enquiries from customers; finding the right team members, such as applications and service engineers to find out technical information and resolve problems for the customers. You will be very customer focused; this will involve a lot of communication between the offices you are based in and the larger company’s global helpdesks to make sure things run smoothly. You will be getting to grips with the technology quickly with support from the existing team and keen to use your own initiative to provide customers with the best customer service during this integration period.
Ideally you will have experience managing a technical support or service team.
