An innovative company producing high-end laboratory measuring instruments is growing its product range and looking to recruit a sales specialist in the North of the UK. The company has a highly regarded international brand and is a leading company in its market.
The company is the one of the global leaders in the measurement of density, concentration and carbon dioxide, and in the field of rheometry. The role itself will involve prospecting new business, visiting clients and conducting demonstrations and sales presentations. You will be responsible for managing your own territory – maximising sales and developing and managing customer relationships. This role will be focussed on the rheometry range of instruments, selling into sectors such as academia, food and polymers.
The territory is the North of the UK with the majority of the business in the M62 corridor.
You will need a degree in materials science, chemistry, engineering, physics or a similar field. You will be strongly considered for the role if you have instrument sales experience or sales experience to the relevant customer base or you have rheology or related materials science knowledge and are focussed on breaking into the commercial sales sector as a trainee. Full Product training will be given and the client has an established 2 week off-site training programme and on-going technical support.
The company offers a competitive base salary and commission of 3% on all sales. Included in the package is a company car, mobile phone and pension scheme.
