The role primarily involves the technical demonstration of high-quality CCD and scientific CMOS cameras in the biomedical and life science market. You will also get involved in customer visits to demonstrate cameras (camera installation, software operation, image acquisition), attendance at exhibitions/trade shows, and customer training ( hardware & software ).


This is a commercial role but the style is driven by demonstrating what the image capture technology can achieve in the customers environment. A willingness to interact with customers and the ability to demonstrate equipment and add value is the key to success.


The role is office based in the South East with approximately 30-40% UK-wide travel (including Ireland). The following skills will be required: practical experience of microscope imaging and fluorescence microscopy. Previous commercial experience is not necessary as full training will be given. This is a rare chance to get into the commercial environment at a trainee level.


Of particular interest is knowledge of advanced techniques such as FRET and TIRF but this is not essential. Good practical knowledge of using fluorescent microscopes is required and a full training programme is available.

Exciting growth within the Clinical Division means they require another motivated individual to help drive projects and concerns within the UK and Ireland. The role requires a capable and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a select team to establish, maintain and develop business and collaborations in both the cell therapy and therapeutic apheresis fields.


Their approach is consultative and technical; so you must be both proficient in communicating science and technology but also adept at partnering with customers to apply the products, to fit protocols, develop working practices and enable them to further their goals in regenerative medicine, cellular immunotherapy and beyond


You will be required to maintain current relationships, manage long term projects, network and develop new business and new possibilities, presenting at key meetings and grasping new opportunities as they arise. Routine travel throughout the UK is necessary and there is the opportunity of further education, travel and networking at relevant international conferences


A good fundamental knowledge and a degree in a biomedical science is required and a PhD level qualification would be preferred but equivalent and relevant experience (in immunology, haematology, regenerative medicine, cell processing and/or therapeutic apheresis) will also be considered. Existing sales experience within Biotech or the NHS is essential.
