This privately owned global company is a market leader in molecular products. They are beginning to move into the diagnostic market and have made a good start, with key opinion leaders recommending their extraction technology. They are currently looking for a new strategic sales specialist to develop diagnostic business in the North of the UK.
This role is highly strategic, bringing awareness of their offering to the clinical marketplace. Most of the focus will be on extraction kits and customised instruments. These are mainly used for DNA extraction from blood for use in diagnostic testing. They have already begun opening up lots of opportunities in this market with several clinical laboratories keen to buy their customised instrumentation. You will be sitting above the sales reps in the north, not managing specific accounts but bringing in opportunities. This is an excellent development opportunity if you are keen to take on more responsibility, develop a market and your career. You will also be influencing decisions in the management team.
The sales manager you will be reporting to is keen to give you free reign to use your diagnostic sales experience to develop the market. They have little experience in this market but are fully committed to supporting you in its growth. The team as a whole are extremely supportive and friendly.
