Out client is a rapidly expanding international business with a well-respected range of products for the genomics and molecular biology market sector.
The role is to drive sales and manage the launch and lifecycle of new and existing products. The role will include input into new product development processes, development and delivery of marketing campaigns, preparation of launch materials, monitoring of financial budgets and recommendation of any required actions, revenue and unit sales forecasting, development of existing and new customer sectors and overall market analysis covering growth potential and competitor analysis.
This role has direct input into the strategic direction of the product ranges and is also includes global travel 10-20% and support activities to the sales teams. The role is focussed on the instrument ranges that include SNP genotyping, liquid handling, thermocyclers and readers and robotics.
You will be office based in the South East region for 3-4 days per week and travel required will include attendance and international conferences etc. This position forms part of a team of 4 reporting to the marketing manager.
For this opportunity you will need significant instrument focussed product management experience and a good understanding of the full product lifecycle from concept and product development through to launch and mature sales phase. A background in the molecular biology market space is an advantage and experience in marketing and sales of similar instrumentation would be highly beneficial.
