This chemistry instrument manufacturer is looking for a European sales manager to manage distribution and also sell directly to some European customers. With success this role will become a global sales manager position in a couple of years.
This company has little in the way of competition with well-known products and newly developed instruments recently launched. Its a good time to join as their sales are on their way up (doubled last year and on track to double in 2014) and there is very little market saturation!
The majority of their customer base are the major pharma companies but they also sell to academia and industries such as petrochemicals.
You will have the support of application scientists for product demos and training so you will have responsibility for developing business through your existing contacts and also increasing sales through the distribution network. You will be reporting directly to the CEO so will have the chance to implement changes and have more influence than in a larger company.
