This team is increasing in size – they have already hired 6 people to join their team so far this year and this is set to continue over the next 12-18 months! They are looking for someone who can grow into a supervisor or manager for part of this team.
This is a very technical style of sales for high -end technical instrumentation and associated reagents. You will be discussing the benefits of these instruments with your loyal client base and also with potential customers in new markets. The customers are attracted to purchasing products from you as this company is continually developing and improving their products, making them faster, easier to use and cheaper. They are the best known company in this market with little competition.
The role will require knowledge and experience with techniques such as qPCR, microarray or next generation sequencing from a PhD or laboratory research. You will take full responsibility for reagent and smaller instrument sales. Higher end instrument sales will require more of joint approach with the regional field sales specialists in the UK and Nordics regions. You will be developing business in new markets and also managing existing accounts.
