I am working with a small, agile, privately owned start up organisation that has developed a very exciting product range and procedure to help treat presbyopia.
With a sizable investment and a world renowned owner within the ophthalmology sector, this position will be the perfect role for someone wanting to prove themselves and be part of something exciting.
The products are a mixture of capital equipment and disposables, but the challenge is not the uptake of the product or the procedure, its increasing the patient flow.
They have a very strong presence across Europe, with distributors focusing on most EU countries. Account managers currently manage these distributors on a country-specific basis. You will be responsible for managing the client base across German speaking countries and managing the Account Managers elsewhere in Europe.
Proven sales experience is essential. You will need demonstrable sales success within the ophthalmology field (ideally IOLs) and an existing portfolio of clinics throughout Europe (preferably within German speaking countries). They would prefer a mixture of sales as well as distribution management; however, they are happy to take someone with the passion and motivation to move up in their career.
