This young global company specialises in molecular diagnostics. The attractive product portfolio is ahead of the competition with NGS based tests! The product range covers the full workflow, from DNA extraction to result. They are continuing to develop and launch new tests to boost their portfolio and sales are increasing rapidly so they are continuing to expand their European service and support team.
Everyone in the team gets involved and takes on additional responsibilities outside of their job description, helping the company to develop and set up processes. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and fixing equipment across Germany and initially the rest of Europe. Later next year they will be hiring more services engineers for Europe so your travel will decrease and you will focus more of your time on Germany. Their sales team have been very successful and as a result this new role has been opened because the existing service engineers are unable to continue managing the workload alone.
You will be based in Germany and will have service engineering experience on life science or diagnostic laboratory instruments. Experience with Next Generation Sequencing instruments would be ideal but this is not a requirement. You should be fluent in both English and German as you will use both languages for this role.
