This established US company is launching a new software product designed for clinical users of Microarray and Next Generation Sequencing. They have already had success globally with their software products, particularly in the academic and industrial markets.
This is a well-established yet small and nimble company. You will be working directly with the CEO to establish the European clinical market. You will be heavily involved in deciding the strategy for the product launch, marketing and sales of this product.
You will have a little competition; the majority of their competition is from the genomics instrument manufacturers who sell much more basic software as part of their package. The benefit you will have over the competition is a more usable, multi-platform technology which enables users to do more with their data.
You will be evangelising this technology to the clinical market, working with key opinion leaders, users and holding seminars. Sales and marketing will also work closely with you to mazimise growth of interest in this software.
