This role is a varied role combining office based technical support and supporting customers by servicing and fixing their instruments. You will also do some promotional work. If you enjoy travelling and like the idea of getting out to meet customers and developing relationships with them to help them to achieve the best they can from the products they have bought from you then this is a great opportunity for you. But you will also have a friendly team environment in the office with 6 people in your immediate team.You will be supporting users with specialised spectrophotometry instruments, including installation, servicing and upgrading the instruments and training customers. You will travel globally as this company has customers worldwide. In addition you will be supporting the office staff technically and will promote the aftersales service contracts to the customers.You will need experience with spectrophotometers and should be confident to install and fix these after some training. You should also have some experience in a customer facing role, this does not have to be in science.
