An extremely rare opportunity for a technical support supervisor to work for a market leading genomics company!
Based in the European head office you will be supervising a team of three who support customers on high end technical instruments across Europe. As developer of these instruments with continuing product development, this company has a huge market share and an excellent range of products. These instruments are sold into varying markets including academia, clinical, pharmaceutical, biobanking and agrigenomics. So you will be supporting a range of customers working on exciting projects such as translational research that will change oncology diagnostics, and helping them to use your products in the best way.
In addition to supporting customers with their technical queries by phone and email you will be responsible for supervising the team operationally. You will be motivating the team to achieve their goals and to provide excellent customer support across Europe. Part of this role will also include technical training of distributors, customers and the sales team. You will occasionally be running some samples in the laboratory to test proof of concept for customers.
You will be joining a fun, friendly and supportive team and will work alongside inside sales, marketing and some specialist project team members. This role will give you the opportunity to develop and grow further into your managerial role.
