Do you have experience in leading the validation of routine diagnostic methods to ISO17025 standards?

Would you like to take on a senior scientist position within a research team for an award winning diagnostics company?

This successful European company sells novel diagnostic kits used to test contaminants, toxins and pathogens in food and agricultural products. In addition to this they offer their clients in these industries contract laboratory services and it is here this brilliant opportunity has become open.

Working closely in a team of 20 research scientists you will be leading the improvement and development of molecular methods for food testing and laboratory analysis to ensure the safety, quality and legality of manufacturing operations. You will be using state-of-the art real-time and end point technologies and will act as an in-house technical champion for molecular diagnostics.

You will enjoy the variety of carrying out research analysis for various different clients from the food, beverage and agriculture industry. This would suit a strong analytical thinker who is able to look at established testing techniques and figure how they can be fine-tuned for more accurate results. Experience in leading the validation of routine diagnostic methods, ideally to ISO17025 or other regulated level is essential.
