For a long time we thought that our genes were our destiny. However, with the study of epigenetics, we are now starting to understand how environmental factors can affect what information we pass on to the next generations.
My client is a fast growing start-up that has taken on the responsibility for bringing epigenetics to the forefront of scientific research internationally. They have developed a unique kit for the sequencing of epigenetic markers in DNA and are constantly developing new products as well as partnership opportunities with laboratories around the globe. The people behind this start-up were also originally behind what is now a market leader in genomics. And since every employee gets shares in the company, this is a particularly exciting time to join the company as you will grow together with it!
They are looking for an experienced customer-facing individual to join their Business Development team. You will develop business globally by setting up collaborations with sequencing facilities and building relationships with customers. This will be done through highly technical discussions with research professionals and core facility managers in the genomics space. The role will involve at least 30% of global travel (mainly North America). Experience in epigenetics and/or sequencing is desirable but not essential.
If you are keen to develop business by building relationships and are passionate about the science, please get in touch with Keren on 01279 657 716 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
