Field Service Engineer - trainee | LC-MS | M4 corridor | to £35K (£38K OTE)

Do you have extensive hands-on experience of LC-MS including method development and/or maintenance?

Are you itching to get out of the lab and want to get out in the field?

A leading manufacturer of analytical chemistry instruments is expanding its service team within the UK and is keen to recruit someone with hands-on use of LCMS and train them to become a field service engineer. Once fully trained and confident in your abilities you will be installing, servicing and handling emergency breakdowns of high value analytical chemistry instruments at customer laboratories in the Oxford/M4 corridor area.

Initially you will have extensive training on the products and service protocol before working alongside a very experienced engineer in the field with the aim of working independently as and when you are ready for this.

I am keen to speak with chemistry graduates who have at least 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience using LCMS. Those who have had to carry out calibration/maintenance and running repairs would be of particular interest. Candidates currently working as LC-MS service engineers will also be considered.

Package: Basic salary £25-35K (depending on experience), 10% company bonus, a company car, private healthcare and pension. Extensive training and support will be provided and no previous customer-facing experience is required!

This is a rare opportunity to step in or develop your career in the field service arena! Contact Keren on 01279 657716 or email for further information.
