An international scientific instrumentation company are looking for a frontline technical salesperson to support UK sales activity at their office in Cambridgeshire.
Reporting directly to the UK sales and marketing manager you will working alongside two other inside sales engineers. As a team you will responsible for a range of tasks including providing quotations, completing tenders, providing immediate response to incoming sales inquiries, following up with sales leads, coordinating equipment hire and supporting export distributors.
This role would be a great opportunity for someone with a background in engineering or life sciences with an interest and understanding of detection/control instrumentation. The products range from lower value industrial sensors through to full and more complex higher value systems. The markets you will be selling to are diverse and include sectors such as pharmaceutical, petrochemical, aerospace, military and many others.
You will be a highly organised and detail-orientated person who is happy speaking with customers over the phone and via email in order to maintain customer relations and build new and profitable business opportunities. There is also the opportunity to attend exhibitions and meet with customers face to face when required.
The role will allow you to join an experienced sales team and benefit from full product training and support. You will be situated within large and modern open plan offices.
